Welcome

NHS North East London and the City was created on 1 April 2012 when  NHS East London and the City and NHS Outer north east London came together as a single cluster of primary care trusts.

Seven primary care trusts serving Barking and Dagenham, the City and Hackney, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest are working together under a single board and management team.

Our aim is to improve health and health services for local people, working in partnership with local authorities, and supporting the development of clinical commissioning groups.
